About Us

What We Do

We provide story books, children’s Bibles, dental supplies, clothing, and financial support for meals that directly support economically disadvantaged children from kindergarten through sixth grade and encompasses a vibrant library ministry.

Through engaging Bible lessons and memory verses, we teach children about Jesus.  Our reading programs equip them for a brighter future, and we nurture their bodies and spirits by providing meals.  By living out Jesus’ command to “love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34), we are fostering the next generation of Godly leaders.

Each session at our libraries is a time of joy and growth.  We open and close with prayer, sing uplifting praise and worship songs, and dive into Bible and reading lessons, all while sharing a meal together.  Our vision includes hosting a “Discipleship Bible Study” at every library gathering.

Our Mission

In the Philippines, a staggering 90% of children struggle to read at grade level, leaving many kids at an economic disadvantage.  Most of these kids don’t know who Jesus is.  We are providing reading and Bible lessons to these children.  We are making remarkable progress advancing these young learners’ reading skills above grade level and improving their overall academic performance. 100% of the kids in our programs know who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to be a disciple.

Who We Are

During the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic, schools across the Philippines faced unprecedented closures for two long years, leading to the unfortunate shutdown of 450 private educational institutions. Today, we find ourselves amid an educational crisis, with a staggering 90% of fifth graders reading at just a first-grade level. Even more alarming, children around the globe are more familiar with Ronald McDonald than with the teachings of Jesus.

Yet, amidst this adversity, Love International shines God’s light of hope and purpose. Our mission is clear: “We honor God and make disciples through a dedicated child sponsorship program.” This initiative directly supports economically disadvantaged children from kindergarten through sixth grade and encompasses a vibrant library ministry.

Our vision includes hosting a “Mini-Vacation Bible Study” at every library gathering.

The Lanuza Youth Library, founded in March 2022 through the generous donations of a small group of believers, has flourished remarkably. With gifts of over 4,000 books, we now boast a main library, four mobile book locations, and 21 dedicated volunteer reading teachers. We’ve celebrated over 6,491 Discipleship Encounters, bringing hope and knowledge to children, including many repeat visitors!

Each library child is not only improving academically but also developing a profound understanding of who Jesus is, why He came, and the meaning of discipleship. Together, we are making Jesus as famous as Ronald McDonald!

As a testament to our commitment, Love International was established in January 2025 to advance this vital sponsorship program and nurture this incredible ministry until the day Jesus returns. Join us in this mission of love, hope, and transformation!
